Yugoslavia built many Russian licensed tanks including the T-series. The M-84 is in fact a licensed built T-72 tank. It was licensed in 1979 but underwent two years of design in order to fit into local production. The M-84 boast a powerful fire-control system, laser range-finder and day/night sensor. The engine is a 1,000 hp V-12 which can push the tank to 65 km/h and gives it a range of 600 km.
