The Model 89 is a locally produced artillery system, which is very similar to the Russian 2S1 system. The turrets and the fire control systems are identical. The major difference between the two systems is the wheelbase whereas the Model 89 has seven wheels and three track-return rollers and a more powerful diesel engine.
